Bonnie McFarlane’s documentary “Women Aren’t Funny” chases down the myth that women don’t belong in comedy.

The film was co-directed by Rich Vos and features an amazing cast of comedians giving their opinions on women who perform stand-up . Amy Schumer, Sarah Silverman, Wanda Sykes, Rosie O’Donnell, Susie Essman, Judy Gold, Maria Bamford Chelsea Peretti, Joy Behar, Lisa Lampanelli, and Joan Rivers all talk about the sexist attitudes they’ve found over the years working in stand up. Guy comics also weigh in on the topic with their own strong points of view including Chris Rock, Adam Carolla, Artie Lange, Tom Arnold, Robert Kelly, Colin Quinn, Jim Norton, Dane Cook, and the late Patrice O’Neal.

“Women Aren’t Funny” is available on iTunes starting Tuesday, August 26th.
