Watch Robin Williams Make Fun Of Sepp Blatter To His Face in 1994

The draw for the U.S.-hosted 1994 World Cup was a star-studded event held in Vegas. But it wasn’t Beau Bridges or Mario Andretti that stole the show, or even then-general secretary Sepp Blatter. It was Robin Williams, who came out like the cyclone of energy we’re all familiar with. And Robin took no prisoners, regularly poking fun of the fact Sepp’s name sounds like a bodily organ (“You are full, I guess?”), and even imitating sign language as he spoke. The future FIFA president was visibly annoyed at times as Williams practiced his trademark manic comedy. When Sports Illustrated’s Grant Wahl attempted to obtain a copy last year, he was told by FIFA they couldn’t find the tape. But a copy literally just hit YouTube, so you can watch it here. You can also read Wahl’s transcript of a recording he received from a fan here at SI.com.
