Want to Secede from the US? You May Get Your Wish. Sort of.

To counter the petitions for secession since Obama was voted back in office, a white house “petition gathering force” has released this petition:

“Mr. President, please sign an executive order such that each American citizen who signed a petition from any state to secede from the USA shall have their citizenship stripped and be peacefully deported,”

They only need twenty three thousand more signatures for it to be addressed by the White House. This second term is starting off wonderfully.

you will be fine, don’t worry.  Obama is not focusing on Guns or Gays, I am assuming those are big issues for you…   The stock market(Dow Jones) has recovered from 8000 in 2008, to 12756 today. The economy is slowly recovering. We will see what happens in January with the Taxes, if taxes are raised it is not the end of the world, if they stay what they are at now it is no guarantee the economy will improve…  just relax.

So the Obamateur wants to deport people born here but still refuses to deport people who are here illegally.  Why am I not surprised?  100 years from now people will read about the early 2000s and ask what went wrong

    • Pepper Hicks Coughing Fit

      November 14, 2012 at 4:10 am

Well the thing is that many states wouldn’t support mass deportations of millions of people, even if the Federal government wanted to…   plus it is imposible.   …So the solution is to close the border as well as work towards identifying people. They don’t have to be citizens in terms of voting, but a plan should be put in place.

Well no, he hasn’t said or advocated that. People have put for a petition that they hope he signs that would do that.

I signed a petition to secede not because I hate Obama, but because I hate the federal government. Its out of control and there are no options on the table to fix it. This is a peaceful way to voice my discontent directly to the white house.

  25. BadNewsJeff

I wouldn’t get too bent out of shape from these petitions.  If they only have 22,795 signatures, that means that 1 out of every 13,599 people in the U.S. signed this petition.  It’s the same for both sides- very very small numbers.
