VIDEO: I Guess They Had Some Reservations After All, Execs Pull Bordain Bit

Anthony Bourdain wrote his own animated short film for Christmas this year, hoping to air it on his show.   ‘A Krampus Carol,’ explains the story of the Krampus, an anti-santa that  hauls away  naughty children in his basket.

But executives at the Travel Channel are a bit gun-shy and have refused to air the tale of the child-licking demon.  It was set to debut on tomorrow’s  holiday edition of No Reservations,  but Gawker.com is reporting they quickly pulled the plug on the short.  Apparently, a source told Gawker that sensitivities regarding the Penn State scandal were referenced when delivering Bourdain the disappointing news.
