Triumph the Insult Comic Dog Gets New Show on Adult Swim
Adult Swim has greenlit an as-yet-untitled, live-action sitcom starring former 30 Rock actor Jack McBrayer opposite Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. This new half-hour live-action comedy series is created by Robert Smigel, Michael Koman and David Feldman (Real Time, Dennis Miller Live), starring Emmy®-nominee Jack McBrayer and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog.
McBrayer plays Jack, a former child star in a Lassie-type series that ran in the ‘80s and ‘90s, and Triumph plays his former co-star-dog. After the series was cancelled, Triumph spiraled into decadence, bringing Jack along with him. 15 years later, with Jack finally self-sufficient, happy, and away from show business, Triumph finds his way back into Jack’s life.
Jack McBrayer is great… for Triumph to poop on.
