Trailer For Will Smith’s NFL Concussion Movie Drops

Sony Pictures has released its first trailer for “Concussion,” a movie about the NFL’s brain injury crisis. Will Smith stars as Dr. Bennet Omalu, one of the more prominent neuropathologists who discovered a possible link between traumatic brain injuries in football and CTE. The movie focuses on the NFL’s denial of his research, and features Luke Wilson as Roger Goodell. The movie debuts Christmas Day, and according to Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, the NFL has been working on its spin against the movie since May.

If there’s one thing I love more than the NFL, it’s hating the NFL.

    This looks fantastic

If the NFL was smart they would have offered a huge trust to help the players through their future health costs and put in rules to prohibit full on head to head contact.  Wait a second…they did some of that, the trust fund was deemed to small and the players themselves are pushing against the new rules.  It’s a huge mess and will only get worse.
