Tracy Morgan Suing Walmart
Tracy Morgan is suing Walmart over the car accident last month that injured him, Ardie Fuqua, two others and took the life of comedian James ‘Jimmy Mack’ McNair.
The crash happened when the driver of a Walmart tractor-trailer crashed into the limousine van carrying Tracy and the others.
The suit claims that Walmart should have been aware that their driver had been awake for over 24 hours, and that his commute of 700 miles from his home in Georgia to work in Delaware was “unreasonable.” It also alleges the driver fell asleep at the wheel.
USA Today reports that the lawsuit states – “As a result of Wal-Mart’s gross, reckless, willful, wanton, and intentional conduct, it should be appropriately punished with the imposition of punitive damages.”
Both Tracy and Ardie are still in rehabilitation centers recovering from serious injuries.
