Tracy Morgan has every intention of coming back to perform after being severely injured in a car accident last year. And that’s from someone who knows, Tina Fey. Tina, who worked with Tracy on SNL and 30 Rock, said she wants him to appear on the new Netflix sitcom she’s writing and producing, “Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt”.

Tina told E! News, “Tracy has already told me that when he is well, he wants to be on the show. And I said, ‘You got it.'” Tina saw Tracy before the holidays. She said, “He’s doing good. He’s got a long road ahead of him, but he’s going to get there.”

Tracy Morgan was injured last June, when a Walmart tractor trailer crashed into his limousine. The accident killed James “Jimmy Mac” McNair, injured 3 others and left Tracy with brain trauma and several broken bones.

“Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt” from creator Tina Fey and starring Ellie Kemper debuts on Netflix on Friday, March 6th.
