Comedy Content Platform Thundershorts Launches
Snagfilms has launched their brand new streaming comedy portal Thundershorts today. The new platform will feature original comedy content including regular series with some pretty impressive comedy names.
Some of the comedy series launching on Thundershorts, include:
American Viral: This is a five-episode series about a dysfunctional family led by a father played by Michael Showalter who will stop at nothing to in his attempts to go viral. American Virla co-stars Zandy Hartig (They Came Together) and features Janeane Garofalo and David Wain.
Teachers Lounge: Comedians Ted Alexandro and Hollis James bring their real life public school experience to their new web series that takes place obviously in a teachers lounge. The series features a great list of comedians who appear as the school’s staff and faculty including Jim Gaffigan, Lewis Black, Janeane Garofalo, Judy Gold, Judah Friedlander, Jim Norton, Dave Attell, Rachel Feinstein, Michael Che and Todd Barry.
Gabe & Max Need Help: In a new twist on couples counseling. Best friends and comedians Gabe Delahaye and Max Silvestri start therapy together to work out their issues. Kumail Nanjiani plays their therapist.
Don’t Walk : Described as a mini-sitcom, “Don’t Walk” takes place at a New York City intersection and all while the “don’t walk” sign is lit. It stars comedian Max Silvestri who develops a crippling fear of jaywalking on his way to work.
