This Teenager Just Made $30 Million, What Have You Done?

Nick D'Aloisio who developed the smartphone news app Summly, poses for a photograph in central LondonYahoo just bought the app Summly from a 17 year old British student for a cool $30 million dollars. The App’s been active for only 4 months on the iPhone before Yahoo swooped in. The app takes news stories and renders them into straight chunks of text making them more readable on a phone, it turns articles into 400 character blurbs.

The app has celebrity backers like Yoko Ono, Ashton Kutcher, Stephen Fry, and Rupert Murdoch. The App game is like drilling for digital gold.
