Yahoo just bought the app Summly from a 17 year old British student for a cool $30 million dollars. The App’s been active for only 4 months on the iPhone before Yahoo swooped in. The app takes news stories and renders them into straight chunks of text making them more readable on a phone, it turns articles into 400 character blurbs.
The app has celebrity backers like Yoko Ono, Ashton Kutcher, Stephen Fry, and Rupert Murdoch. The App game is like drilling for digital gold.

I worked on feeding my family on my ever shrinking budget. without the help of Foodstamps or EBT. ( I know I am the minority)
Now he can afford to fix the windows in his apartment. Looks like there's an easterly breeze blowing through.
At least the kid got his life together after some old queen bought him a sandwich and wanted to "just talk".
Not impressed. I made over 100 million sperm today, and I value life over money. Sadly, none survived
What a cute little pretentious gold mine. Maybe I should have nerd babies after all. Make mommy an app or youre grounded.
With that many backers I have to imagine his cut of $30 mil is going to be rather limited. Still a nice chunk for a 17 year old, I'm sure.
Fuck you kid,,, fuck you and are your computer nerd buddies. Hope you lose it all on some new startup
@elephant_droid why dont you look it up instead of looking like an idiot
@LowKeyMike ...............john's money
@LowKeyMike Ron Bennington turned me around on Yoko. All he had to say was "That's who John chose." I never looked at the Yoko "debacle" that way. If you love John, You have to love Yoko.
Good one, Cunt.
Although you are a nobody, my questions goes back to a IB wire post from a couple weeks ago.
Because I put a question mark on the comment, I look like an idiot...or does everything have to be fag this and fag that? That's the way you like it apparently.
@JonNockels No, my husband is a huge nerd, but I can put you on my back up list if you pass a series of tests.
@edrooney I like John like anyone else, doesn't mean I have to like who he is affiliated or in a relationship with. Yoko also was hooking up with John when he was married, turning his back on his wife and kid. I just think it's dumb to give attention to someone only because they married someone famous
I know she also has a "music career", so that could be a possible claim to fame, but I have never heard anyone say 'Let's put on some Yoko'
