Native American actors walked off the set of the new Adam Sandler Netflix comedy, “The Ridiculous Six” this week. The group of about a dozen actors felt the script was more offensive that funny. One of those jokes that was revealed by Native American actor Loren Anthony was about a female character’s name. He said, “One thing that really offended a lot of people was that there was a female character called Beaver’s breath. One character says ‘Hey, Beaver’s Breath.’ And the Native woman says, ‘How did you know my name?’”

Gawker has obtained some more dialogue from “The Ridiculous Six” script to show what exactly caused the walk off. According to the site, these lines are from a 2012 version of script, but Gawker doubts that it’s been updated and that these are some of the jokes that offended the actors.

In the movie, Sandler plays Tommy who is married to a Native American woman named “Smoking Fox”, (clever).

At the time, Netflix released a statement really stressing the “ridiculous” defense. The company said, “The movie has ridiculous in the title for a reason: because it is ridiculous. It is a broad satire of Western movies and the stereotypes they popularized, featuring a diverse cast that is not only part of — but in on — the joke.”

“The Ridiculous Six” is part of an exclusive 4 movie deal with Adam Sandler. A premiere date hasn’t been released yet. The movie co-stars Taylor Lautner, Nick Nolte, Whitney Cummings, Blake Shelton, Steve Buscemi, Rob Schneider, Dan Aykroyd, Will Forte, Nick Swardson, Terry Crews, Jon Lovitz, Luke Wilson, Steve Zahn, Danny Trejo, Chris Parnell and Lavell Crawford.
