TBS Teases Samantha Bee Q&A, New Series Screenings and More at New NYCF Comedy Hub

Next month’s New York Comedy Festival is looking like it’s going to be a great one. Jim Norton, Tim Dillon, Jeff Ross, Judy Gold, Ms. Pat, Joey Diaz, 2 Dope Queens, Kevin Smith;  the list of killer performers that are going to be in attendance is lengthy. Now, network sponsor TBS has announced that they’ve stepped up their involvement in the festival this year, unveiling the TBS Comedy Hub.

The TBS Comedy Hub, located at the PUBLIC hotel, will be the de-facto headquarters of the festival, offering attendees access to exclusive TBS programming throughout the festival, which takes place from November 7th – 12th. Some of the content that will be available at the Hub includes:

An Hour with Full Frontal’s Samantha Bee – Tuesday, November 7th from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.

SNL alum and People of Earth star Ana Gasteyer will host an intimate, no holds-barred, hour-long interview and Q&A with Samantha Bee of The Daily Show and Full Frontal with Samantha Bee fame. Audience questions are welcomed!

Conan Presents: The Writers of Conan Live – Tuesday, November 7th – Thursday, November 9th from 9 p.m. – 11 p.m.

This one should be interesting: The writers of Conan will be hosting a couple of two-hour comedy showcases where they will all be doing stand-up.

Search Party Presents: “The Guilty Party” Season 2 Premiere Party – Wednesday, November 8th from 9 p.m. – 11 p.m.

Cast and creators of the show — Michael Showalter, John Early, Meredith Hagner, John Reynolds, Charles Rogers and more — will take part in a unique sensory experience that’s meant to capture the air of satire and mystery of the show. The event will be produced by theater company Punchdrunk International.

Finale Space Presents: Story Time with Olan Rogers – Saturday, November 11th from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m.

Olan Rogers, creator and executive producer of the upcoming animated action-adventure show Final Space, will premiere part of an episode before performing stand-up. Rogers will star in the show alongside Fred Armisen, Tom Kenny, David Tennant, Tika Sumpter, Steven Yeun and Coty Galloway.

The hub will also feature Limor Garfinkle’s photo series The Comedians, a series of portraits of over 35 different New York-based comics that includes shots of Jim Norton, Tracy Morgan, Lewis Black and more.
