Steve Martin Bumped Tom Papa and Papa Loved it

Steve Martin recently performed a mythologically rare opening stand up set at a Jerry Seinfeld show, held at the Beacon Theater in New York on the eighteenth. Martin’s opening set, the first since he left stand up thirty five years ago, was a complete surprise for audience members. Not surprisingly, Martin’s act was well received.

Obama is a Comedian Now

The next guest on the new season of Jerry Seinfeld's Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee is President Obama. This will be Obama's third time guesting on a comedy show but his first time appearing on a show that only has comedians as guests. He previously appeared on Between Two Ferns and Marc Maron's WTF.

Annie Hall Tops the List of 100 Funniest Screenplays Ever

The Writers Guild of America announced their awards for the top 101 funniest screenplays of all time revealing Woody Allen and Marshall Brickman's Annie Hall topped the list. Annie Hall won the Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay in 1977.

Miss The Letterman Goodbye Last Night? Here’s Most of It

If you missed the final episode of the Late Show with David Letterman you missed big ovations, lots of thanks, a few looks back, and a celebrity studded Top Ten list. There were no real emotional moments, Dave took the show out in almost exactly the same fashion as he conducted the show for the last few decades-- level and steady, having a good time, and professional as always.
