This could be a triumphant return to form for Paul Reubens, whose achievements were, at one point eclipsed by scandal. And we're hoping the new film be as forward-thinking and influential as Tim Burton’s Pee-wee’s Big Adventure.

There Will Be No More Simpsons DVDs Ever

Showrunner Al Jean has said that seasons of the Simpsons will no longer be released on DVD. Season 17 will be the last season released in the nearly archaic format, due in part to piracy, and due in part to the availability of every episode in digital form on the Simpsons App.

Nick DiPaolo Killing It In His New Special

If you’re really into comedy, you know Nick DiPaolo is one of the products of Boston’s comedy boom and part of the pantheon of guys from the "The Table" at The Comedy Cellar who became household names through shows like Tough Crowd and The Comedy Central Roasts. But plenty of folks also know him from his former radio show with Artie Lange, his current podcast, as one of the guys playing poker on Louie, and, of course, from his long and successful stand-up career.

Jeffrey Gurian Remembers the Great Joe Franklin

Joe Franklin, tv and radio host, and media personality passed away Saturday night at the age of 88. Joe was an important part of television and radio, especially in New York City for the past six decades but his influence stretched way beyond New York. Franklin gave so many great performers their first breaks, talking with over 300,000 guests if that's possible. One of them was New York based comedian and writer, Jeffrey Gurian who not only sat down with Franklin on his show, but considered him a friend, and spent some time with in him his final hours before he passed. Jeffrey was kind enough to share some of his memories of Joe with us.
