Today Jim Gaffigan and his wife Jeannie Gaffigan went live on Periscope to make a giant announcement and take questions from a giant super king sized bed. Jim and Jeannie announced that in the 48 hours since they put the first episode of their new show on JimGaffigan.com, they have had 500,000 visitors go to the site to check out the episode.

Our picks for the ten greatest comedy movies of 2014 are all over the map. There is a blockbuster, and bunch of indie films among our picks, and we chose several films that you might argue aren't actually comedies. But we stand by the notion that often the best comedies are films that are dark, or mixed genre, so we didn't get details like that get in our way of picking some great films that skirted the edges of being pure comedies. It started with 49 comedians, battling it out in the Ron and Fez Show/The Interrobang ESPN NFL Comedian Eliminator Challenge. To win, they had to beat the odds, and the other comedians by picking one winning team each week of the NFL season. Anyone who chose wrong was eliminated. To win, you only had to outlast everyone else, until there was only one.
