Larry David Smashes Into Bernie Sanders on SNL with “Bern Your Enthusiasm”

We love Larry, but going into Saturday Night Live last night, let's just say we were keeping expectations low. Many of Saturday Night Live's funniest hosts have unfortunately produce some of the show's weakest episodes. So last night we were thrilled to see Larry David kill as the host with some of the funniest sketches of the year. Bonus for the chance to see Larry bring his curmudgeon LD style to some silly characters.

Jeffrey Gurian’s Favorite Comedy Things! A 2015 Year in Review

It’s almost impossible to try and list my top comedy moments from 2015, because there were just so many. Trying to only choose 15 was a monumental task. Last year I did more of a review than a “Top 15” list, but this year I decided to try and list the 15 events that meant the most to me. Some of them I was involved in personally, others not, ... but all of them were events I attended to cover for my column in The Interrobang. It’s important to emphasize that they are NOT in order. Every one of them could theoretically be #1.

Last night people all over America tuned in to Saturday Night Live to see what would happen when Trump took the stage. Would he get heckled? Would he be funny? Would Trump get back in the chicken suit reprising the funniest sketch from his 2004 turn as host? Would there be audience disruptions?

Tracy Morgan Delivers in a Saturday Night Live All Time Great But Larry David Steals The Show

Tracy crushed with an episode that included great renditions of his familiar crowd pleasing characters, a monologue that included laughs, and sentimental moments, and probably offended some, plus a reunion sketch that thrilled Morgan's fans.

Obama on an Episode of Curb!?

No, that's just the President playing a round of golf on Martha's Vineyard this Saturday. The President was kicking off his annual two week vacation on the vineyard. Don't now who won but apparently "Lah" spent quite a bit of time trying to work his way out of a sand trap.

Huge things are happening for New York comedian Big Jay Oakerson. He's getting his own radio show, his own Comedy Central hour special, and his podcast, Legion of Skanks was recently picked up by the new Anthony Cumia Network. Last night, according to Big Jay's twitter, he interceded in a fight taking place between a fellow comic and a disruptive audience member, and now he says the club owner has banned him from the club for life, and is threatening to get every New York club owner to follow suit. Here's what went down, according to a lengthy series of tweets from Oakerson. These are the tweets in his words, put into order.

Larry David Tony Awards Speech Cries Anti Semitism!

At last night's Tony Awards, Larry David gave the first Tony non-acceptance speech ever. In fact, not only did Larry David not win an award, he wasn't even nominated. But he will be the most talked about presenter this year, after he gave a very Larry David-esque and very funny speech about how tough it is to be a Jew in the entertainment business. Just ask Harvey Weinstein.

Not only is Larry David's "Fish in the Dark" the hottest ticket on Broadway, but his fans love him so much that they want more Larry.
