If you thought Susie Essman was tough and scary on Curb Your Enthusiasm, wait till you see her as a domineering Home Economics teacher. Susie Essman guest stars as the home economics teacher from hell on tonight’s episode of Those Who Can’t. She runs a sweatshop out of her kitchen, using students to push product, and you won’t want to cross her path.
In this clip, Essman encounters our favorite Spanish teacher, Loren Payton, and argues about his Master Baking skills. Susie will be appearing in a recurring role as ‘Leslie Bronn’ in Season One of Those Who Can’t which just premiered last week. It’s one of our favorite new comedy series this season, and stars a list of some of the best young stand up comedians performing today including series creators Ben Roy, Adam Cayton-Holland (Loren) and Andrew Overdahl.
Filmed in the same high school made famous by Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Those Who Can’t also stars Rory Scovel and Maria Thayer and a long list of amazing guest stars including T.J. Miller (Silicon Valley), Mary Lynn Rajskub (24), Peter Stormare (Fargo, The Big Lebowski) and Michael Madsen (Reservoir Dogs).
