Supermarket Robot Got Fired For Doing a Terrible Job

Scottish supermarket chain Margiotta’s robot Fabio was programmed to direct people who needed help finding products in the supermarket to their area. The robot ended up not being able to perform this task and just told customers that beer was in the “alcohol section” and cheese was in the “fridges”. Then when they had the robot try and get people to try samples of meat, Fabio was only able to get 2 customers to try in 15 minutes, humans usually get 12. Robots are more of a manager/supervisor type anyway.
