One superfan has taken the David Letterman montage from the Late Show and contextualized the entire thing; 1 by 1, frame by frame, for 534 frames. This job wasn’t too much for Adam Nedeff – the man who undertook this task – as he posted this project to his facebook account and explained the moments behind each picture and video shown.

The montage chronicled Letterman’s legendary run from when he first started hosting Late Night on NBC to his switch to the Late Show. The montage also showcased famous moments from the show’s history and included everything from guests, segments and featured a memorial segment towards the end which included Johnny Carson, Robin Williams, Lou Reed, Joan Rivers and Warren Zevon. All this was played to the Foo Fighter “Everlong”. Other highlights include Letterman’s famous “Monkey-Cam” and the time a young Drew Barrymore decided to flash Dave from the top of his desk. You can visit Adam Nedeff facebook for all the details.

Adam says he did it as a favor for a friend and is loving the love he’s getting for it.
