In the Wednesday’s episode of South Park, titled “Grounded Vindaloop”, the boys get stuck in a virtual reality world. Cartman creates a fake Occulus Rift for Butters who commits heinous acts while thinking it’s just a fake reality. But then it’s hard to tell who’s trapped in a Matrix like world and who isn’t. The best is still to come with the ending.
At the end of the episode, the boys took their VR helmets off and we got to see what they’d look like if they were flesh and blood. Seeing a live action Kenny get killed every week would be quite disturbing. Which is maybe why they should do it.
