On Saturday, NBC hosted a great day of sports, with hockey, the Kentucky Derby, and even night golf, but they missed out on the big event– Floyd Mayweather versus Manny Pacquiao. But its late and people are sleepy, so SNL opened with an announcement that the show was going to a pirated signal of the boxing’s main event. Jay Pharoah as Floyd Mayweather boxing Aidy Bryant as Manny Pacquiao, complete with confusion about the Pac Man’s actual accent. Plus, it was a great excuse to bring back Kate McKinnon’s Justin Bieber impression.
Maybe the PPV should have pirated the NBC open.
