Showtime Announces New Series About An Orthodox Jewish Comedian


Julie-Rottenberg-Elisa-Zuritsky.jpgShowtime has a new sitcom in the works called “Yank” that follows a young Orthodox Jewish man looking to become a stand up comedian. “Yank” is being developed by two of the women behind the HBO series “Sex and the City”. They are both looking forward to the challenge of writing characters that aren’t so interested in shoes.
