Shanahan Wanted to Quit in 2012

“Sources” have revealed that Redskins coach Mike Shanahan was ready to walk in 2012 due to Dan Snyder and Robert Griffin III’s close relationship. He had packed up his locker and was looking to get out until the Redskins’ loss in the playoffs, which is when he he decided to stay. He didn’t want it to look like he was leaving because the team lost. Was he expecting them to win the Superbowl?
