See Bob Saget Tape His New Special in Brooklyn for Free!

The residents of Williamsburg may catch a lot of flak for being hipsters, but they’re the ones getting the last laugh. As we previously announced, Paul Virzi and Rory Albanese will each be shooting their new stand-up specials at the Music Hall of Williamsburg next week, and now that prospect has gotten even sweeter: On Tuesday, May 2nd, the same day as Virzi’s free sets, longtime comedian and actor Bob Saget will be shooting his new special, and the tickets are also free!

Saget, of course, needs no introduction. Having come to the attention of most people as patriarch Danny Tanner in the classic sitcom Full House, many were surprised to discover that he was not only a stand-up comic, but a rather dirty one at that. He’s released two stand-up specials, one in 2007 with HBO called That Ain’t Right, and another in 2013 called That’s What I’m Talkin’ About, the latter of which was nominated for a Grammy Award. He’s had a hand in directing, producing, and writing for film, television and print, even writing a New York Times Best Seller called Dirty Daddy: The Chronicles of a Family Man Turned Filthy Comedian. Now, he’s looking to shoot the newest addition to his stand-up portfolio.

Saget’s two shows will be taking place on Tuesday, May 2nd at 7:30 and 9:30 p.m. at Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg. Tickets to both shows are free, and can be reserved here. Act fast, because these are sure to go quickly!
