Screech Arrested For Switchblade Bar Fight
Dustin Diamond was arrested early Friday during a bar fight in Ozaukee County, Wisconsin and charged with recklessly endangering safety and possession of a switchblade knife. The actor claims he pulled a switchblade to protect a woman from being further harassed by two drunken patrons. A source claimed that he stabbed a dude at the Grand Avenue Saloon and then left in his vehicle. He was arrested shortly there after.
Might sound like just another victim of those crazy Ozaukee Country nights, but then again, in unrelated news– earlier this month in his column, Jeffrey Gurian reported that the National Lampoon play “Bayside!The Musical” (which is the unauthorized parody of the popular 90’s sitcom “Saved By The Bell”) had a turnover in the cast, when they had to part ways with Dustin Diamond, “for undisclosed reasons.” Diamond had joined the show in August at a hefty salary to play himself, but guess things didn’t work out.
