School Cancels Cool Runnings Screening Because They Think It’s Racist

A Boston school has a “winter week” tradition to help the students relax after mid-terms, on Wednesdays they play a movie everyone watches together. The student council chose “Cool Runnings” because the Winter Olympics are coming up, the school decided this movie was racially insensitive and canceled the screening which caused the students to go nuts on a reply-all email chain in anger over the situation. Boston, a city known mostly for its sensitivity involving racism.
