Sarah Silverman Doing HBO Pilot

Sarah Silverman is going back into business with Home Box Office. Her Emmy award winning special Sarah Silverman: We Are Miracles premiered on HBO last year and Sarah also appeared on the network’s “Larry Sanders Show” and “Mr. Show”. Now EW is reporting that Sarah is doing a pilot for a half-hour comedy series for HBO.
The project doesn’t have name yet, but the premise features Sarah Silverman fighting a pathological need to tell the truth throughout her current mid-life crisis.
The new Sarah Silverman pilot is being written Lucy Prebble (Secret Diary of a Call Girl) and no announcement has been made on when it will start shooting. The only thing for sure is that when it goes to series, we’ll all be watching.
