Sam Morril, Joe Machi and Phil Hanley Launch New Podcast, “Keeping Joe”
Stand-up comedians Sam Morril and Phil Hanley have convinced their other comic friend, Joe Machi, to do a podcast with them at the Comedy Cellar in New York City. Every week, the group bickers and then tries to convince Joe to stay. The men quickly become boys when Liz Furiati, the Comedy Cellar manager, sits in to oversee the anarchy. WARNING: This podcast has the potential to turn into a musical at any time. All you have to do is listen to the podcasts’ theme song to get the sense that this is no ordinary show.
The podcast premieres today, Wednesday, April 5th, and features some great guests. In the first episodes, you’ll meet the team, find out how you get food poisoning, learn that the cellar has a new menu, hear a rock opera and great stories from everyone including guest Artie Lange.
