Crowd Source: the practice of obtaining ideas, information or input into a particular task or project by soliciting contributions from a large number of people.

Ron Bennington, host of SiriusXM’s Bennington Show, Unmasked and Ron Bennington Interviews will debut an hour of stand up at The Stand Comedy Club as part of the New York Comedy Festival. Bennington started his comedy career as a stand up comedian and comedy club owner and promoter, but left the stage to pursue a career in radio. Before creating the Bennington Show with his daughter, Gail Bennington, which currently airs daily on SiriusXM, he was a part of two other legendary radio shows, the Ron and Ron Radio Network and the Ron and Fez show.

In December 2016 Ron started going on stage again, doing sets around New York City at The Stand, Gotham Comedy Club, New York Comedy Club, The Village Underground and the Standing Room. Now, less than a year later, he’s doing his first hour in NYC, with a new show, Crowd Source, which will debut at the New York Comedy Festival. It’s not crowd work, it’s crowd source.

Tickets are $25 and are available at TheStandNYC.com.
