Ron and Fez Tribute to Robin Williams on SiriusXM

After finding out that Oscar winning actor and comedy legend Robin Williams had died earlier today, Ron Bennington and Fez Whatley of SiriusXM’s Ron and Fez Show went live on SiriusXM channel 99 to pay tribute to a long and exceptional career. For 90 minutes, Ron and Fez played clips, and took calls from comedians and club owners who knew and loved Robin Williams, or were inspired by his work. When Ron and Fez learned that due to contractual obligations to the Chelsea Handler show, they were unable to stay on air past 11pm et, they continued on, taping interviews to air during the replay of the special.

Some of the people who called in to honor Williams included Jay Mohr, Louie Anderson, David Steinberg, Gilbert Gottfried, Tom Papa, Reggie Watts, Bobby Slayton, Big Jay Oakerson, Jimmy Shubert, Justin Stangel, Richie Tienkin, Paul Provenza, Kevin Pollack, Seth Herzog, Jim Florentine, Rick Overton, George Wallace and Richie Tienken.  At the end of the tribute, Ron and Fez thanked everyone for calling in during such an emotional time, and for sharing their personal thoughts and stories.

The entire tribute is about 3 hours long, and is replaying continuously all night until noon tomorrow when the Ron and Fez Show airs live on SiriusXM Raw Dog Comedy Hits 99.  You can also listen to it On Demand on SiriusXM.
