I once worked with a guy from Louisiana that pronounced oil "earl." Yes, that is my contribution to yet another crazy south story.
WOW! This is like a racist joke gold mine. Something black coming moving in and ruining a nice neighborhood.
No birds or wildlife caught in this Exxon oil spill. Just soccer mom's, toy poodles, and old men in scooters stuck in this one.
I was born in Mt. Home AR. They can spill all the oil in the world on that place and it ain't going to make any difference.
I know I'm about to be called an asshole for this, but I'm willing to bet two things. 1, none of those upper class rednecks wanted any government safety regulations on the oil company. 2, they'll want government money for the clean up.
That neighborhood is more evidence that we are conforming lemmings all across the country. We're the same as North Korea, but we don't do it because of the government.
@edrooney I have a Dad here in NJ who calls it earl too.
@Siccerson Id laugh, But some fucking Rube on Foxnews.com already posted this.
@Moe Green It's Arkansas. Families are usually getting their fuck on at that time of day.
Actually my dad use to go fishing and just drink the water out of the lake. Last time he went home, 15 years ago, he tried the same thing and almost end up throw up his gall bladder.
@elephant_droid Little boxes on the hillside, Little boxes made of ticky tacky....
@Scott From Jersey Is your picture from Katz?
@Scott From Jersey Last time, to be different, I ordered what I thought might be a sprite type soda called Cel-Ray. (It was green and had ray in the name like a ray of sun on a lime...so I thought) It was NOT. It was celery flavored soda...as indicated in the name. It's wasn't terrible but the first sip was quite a surprise!
@edrooney but of course,Dr.Browns cream soda, knish ,matzo ball soup.Great place
@Scott From Jersey Best pastrami on rye on the planet. Always tip the meat cutter for a piece at the beginning. Now I've gone and worked up a powerful hunger!
