Good thing Sandra Fluke and Obama got the ball rolling and established a new norm in which a radio host can’t say “slut,” which opened the door for Greta Van Susteren’s call to arms that forced Louis CK out of an appearance at the Radio/TV Correspondents’ Assn Dinner for using “cunt” in his standup.  So be sure to add “cunt” and “slut” to the list of words you can’t say without risking repercussions, regardless of whether your own audience is offended. The more banned words the better.  Distinctions between an AM radio political-entertainment show and comedy club act are irrelevant in this climate. Yay for progress!  No need to work blue!   http://thecaucus.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/03/09/louis-c-k-withdraws-as-host-of-radio-and-television-correspondents-dinner/

    Right or left.  Who cares.
Lets be careful when we set the standard that is ” lets stop person A from stating their opinion”

The result may be a loss for us all.

There is no scenario where Peter Gabriel, Rush or the Fabulous Thunderbirds were anything but stunned and ecstatic to hear themselves on any radio program, anywhere, any context.

So, people with different opinions than the artists shouldn’t by the albums either? You heard it here first… Racists and right wings need not buy the albums of these artists.

RATM hating capitalism so much is very ironic to me. Considering when I was in 8th grade I wore a RATM t-shirt and bought their cd’s. I know, I know, they donate ALL their money to bettering the world.
