Police Think They Found Ashley Madison Hacker
The New York Times reports a new lead in the Ashley Madison hacking scandal. The prime suspect for the hack is a Twitter user named Thadeus Zu (@deuszu). Zu posted Ashley Madison info before it was made public and has boasted about many web attacks he’s done in the past, interjected with references to AC/DC’s song “Thunderstruck.” He has taunted businesses and lawmakers across the world through hacking, then sending them AC/DC references. One tweet to a Dutch company read: “Next time, it will be Thunderstruck. #ACDC.” Thunderstruck might be a nice way to describe the 30 million Ashley Madison users cringing that their spouse doesn’t find out.
