Peyton Manning and Bo Derek Among Rob Lowe Roasters #RobLoweMe
Comedy Central just announced the first round of roasters for the highly anticipated upcoming Rob Lowe Roast.
On the comedy side, SNL’s youngest, Pete Davidson, British bad boy Jimmy Carr, and of course the Roastmaster himself Jeff Ross will be on the dais along with Roastmaster David Spade. Jimmy Carr is known for his brutally funny but vicious insult comedy, and won the title of champion of the first Roast Battle competition in Montreal at the Just for Laughs Festival in 2015.
On the celebrity side of the aisle, Peyton Manning will be taking shots at Lowe, as will Rob Riggle. And Bo Derek, who co-starred in Tommy Boy with Lowe as his scheming lover pretending to be his mom, will also get a chance to take shots at her co-star and friend. Riggle and Lowe have crossed paths plenty of times including an upcoming movie How to Be a Latin Lover. And everyone remembers back in 2012 when Rob Lowe infamously (and incorrectly) predicted Peyton Manning’s retirement. Lowe is a huge Colts fan.
More to be announced, of course. The #LoweRoast will tape at Sony Studios on Saturday, August 27 and premiere on Labor Day at 10:00 P.M. ET/PT.
