There are over 100,000 payphones still in service around the United States with over 5% of that number coming from New York. Pay phone providers reported $286 million in revenue in 2015 and say that they get alot of action during natural disasters and in places where there isn’t good cell reception. Payphone companies, be smart about this, just start advertising directly to drug dealers.
