Paul Shaffer to Guest on Unmasked, Here’s How to Get Free Tickets
The great Paul Shaffer is going to be the next guest to spend an hour with Ron Bennington, for Bennington’s Unmasked series. You can request tickets to be in the studio audience for this incredible event.
Paul Shaffer is out promoting a new CD, Paul Shaffer & The World’s Most Dangerous Band which includes guest vocalists Dion, Jenny Lewis, Bill Murray, Darius Rucker, Shaggy, and Valerie Simpson. Shaffer and bandmates Will Lee and Felicia Collins round out the lead vocal duties. Paul is a true multi-hyphenate, known and loved for his roles as a singer, actor, voice actor, author, comedian, multi-instrumentalist, bandleader and beloved often imitated, but never duplicated sidekick/secondary host/musical director of both Late Night with David Letterman and the Late Show with David Letterman– in fact he was there for every single episode of what was undoubtedly the most influential comedy show of our lifetime
When Letterman retired, he made sure his audience knew how important Paul was to him, saying Paul was “as good a friend as you can have on television, as good a friend as you can have in life, an absolute musical genius.” Paul’s contributions to comedy – through music and otherwise- are undeniable. He started his career with Toronto’s Second City touring show (along with comedy giants Gilda Radner, Martin Short, Eugene Levy), he put in time with Saturday Night Live, worked with the Blues Brothers, and has even had small roles in a number of comedy movies. He’s a goddamn legend, and you won’t want to miss the chance to be in the room as Bennington talks with Paul about his career.
Paul will sit down with Ron Bennington to tape an episode of Unmasked at SiriusXM next Monday in their famous “Fishbowl” performance studio on March 20, 2016, at 5:00pm. The tickets to attend are free, but there aren’t a lot of seats, so request fast.
