Open Mic’er Punches Out Emcee

It’s getting really dangerous to host open mic nights these days. Only weeks ago a comic ejected from an open mic night went after another comedian with an aluminum bat, leaving him hospitalized, and now there’s a video that purports to show a comedian cold cocking the emcee at Joker’s Club Comedy Night at a Holiday Inn in Lima, Ohio.
Death and Taxes Magazine identified the open mic performer as BK Irons, aka Brian Knight Irons. Supposedly Irons broke a no swearing rule too many times, and was asked to leave by the evening’s emcee Joe Deez. And you can see in the video what happens next. Assault charges have been filed against Brian Knight Irons and you can hear Deez tell his side of the story below.
