Every big hollywood movie studio seems to be in a rush to sign the next big action movie with a bigger than life supervillain. True, you love to hate villains like Bane, Loki and Magneto, but there’s no villain worse or more despicable than the corporate scumbag. The guy that had no soul to begin with and thanks to that is now in charge, is the scariest villain of all.  You’ll find him selling out everyone and anything to keep up the status quo. And it takes a very special kind of actor to play a corporate scumbag, which is why you’ll often see the same actors filling the scumbag shoes.  Here are our picks for the actors who comfortably walk the evil line of the corporate douche.  The guys who run things and the amazing actors who made us hate them all so much more than we could ever hate a comic book nemesis.

1.  Ronny Cox

You’ll know Ronny Cox from his classic roles as OCP Senior President Dick Jones in Robocop and as Cohaagen, the “Governor” of Mars Colony, in Total Recall. Paul Verhoeven must have loved this guy, and for good reason. No one encapsulate the 80’s yuppie dirtbag better than Ronny Cox. No one was sleazier or more cut throat. If you needed a sociopath in a suit, Ronny was there for you.

2.  William Atherton

In the dirtbag suit role, Atherton is one of the greats. He was responsible for shutting down the Ghostbusters containment chamber and in Real Genius he had it out for Val Kilmer. His smugness and unapologetic behavior is everything you want in someone you have to hate.

3.  Kurt Fuller

Kurt Fuller is an interesting one. He was Rob Lowe’s TV exec lackey in Waynes World yes he eventually turned out to be a good guy. He took over William Atherton’s position in Ghostbusters 2 as the Mayor’s assistant who stood in the boys way. And maybe his best example of being a corporate shill was his turn as Brell in the little seen yet still classic No Holds Barred. There he got to show his chops at being an evil. insane, boss. Too bad Rip killed him in the end. Spoiler alert!

4.  Hart Bochner

Hart Bochner played the wonderfully delightful dirt bag Ellis in Die Hard. Is there anyone more hateable? A coked up yuppie piece of garbage like Ellis got everything he deserved. All the cocaine in the world couldn’t help you negotiating with Severus Snape.

5.  Michael Douglas

Gecko the Great himself. The most charming and charismatic out of this group of winners, Gordon was still a terrible person and a first rate douche. Greed isn’t good, Gordon, and you find that out when your boy Bud Fox drops a dime on you. Sadly, he attempts to redeem himself in Wall Street 2 but lets pretend that never happened. Michael Douglas had the perfect look for the 80’s corporate stooge and he pulled it off perfectly.

6.  Gary Cole

Is there anyone more reprehensible or better a symbol of corporate douchiness then Bill Lumbgerh? No, he’s not as evil as the rest of the men on this list but he’s the guy most people probably deal with in real life, which makes him the scariest.
