No Reprieve for Stavvybaby on Instagram, And You’ll Never Guess Why He Was Banned

“What the fuck man? Bullying!?”
While recording the newest episode of the popular podcast “Cum Town” (it recently passed $10,000 in monthly Patreon donations), comedian Stavros Halkias received an email from Instagram regarding his body-positive account, “stavvybaby”, which has been suspended for the past few weeks. “Oh no dude, I just got a Twitter message, I think my Insta’s done for good dude,” Halkias said after getting a Twitter DM from Instagram during the show notifying him that the account was no longer suspended, and is now deleted.
According to the Stavros, the account has been banned, not for nudity as he assumed, but for “harassment and bullying”. The guys speculated that someone found his plus-size modeling pictures to be making fun of “actual” body positive accounts, even though Stav insists he was being 100% honest. “They say my shit got taken down because of bullying, and harassment!?” Stavros said, adding, “What the fuck man? Bullying?
Stavros vows to continue his comedic and sincere photos. “Who did I harass? People feel better because of me and my work and I will not stop. I will be back.
Cum Town Host Nick Mullen said that if Stav were a woman, this would be a giant story. “You could be on Oprah right now” he said, and suggests that the banning could be collateral damage from his own battles on social media; while Stav is usually apolitical, Nick’s leftist satire regularly annoys both Alt-Right Nazi accounts and centrist Hillary fans like Sady Doyle (known for her public feuds with comedians Kurt Metzger and Sam Morril). Nick recently left Twitter after his account was locked; he’s only allowed to log back in after he deletes a specific joke, so he’s chosen to not delete it out of principle and leave it locked.
Nick is now only available on Instagram @mulldogforever, while Stav is on Twitter @stavcomedy; third co-host Adam Friedland is on Twitter as well @adamfriedland and runs a live comedy show monthly at C’Mon Everybody in Brooklyn called Funny Moms.
