Save the date! On February 25, 2017 the funniest comedy team since….since…well, it’s been a long time since there were comedy teams. But Film Independent just announced that their awards ceremony will once again be overflowing with great comedy because this year’s hosts are Nick Kroll and John Mulaney. Kroll and Mulaney follow up on another great pick, Kate McKinnon hosted the ceremony in 2016.
“We couldn’t think of two smarter, funnier people to host our show, and look forward to having them on the beach on Saturday, February 25,” said Josh Welsh, the President of Film Independent.
Nick and John are currently starring on Broadway with their characters Gil Faizon (charmed I’m sure) and George St. Geegland in Oh, Hello and of course we all know and love them from many other projects that of course you all know about like Kroll Show, Sausage Party, SNL, The League, and Mulaney’s critically loved special The Comeback Kid.
The Independent Film Awards will air Feb. 25 at 5 pm. ET on IFC.
