Nick DiPaolo, Gary Gulman, Nick Thune And More Face Off In ESPN’s “Enemy Territory”
ESPN has decided to break up the serious sports talk leading up to the Super Bowl with some comedy, so they created a pair of comedy shorts featuring six comedians from Boston and Seattle. “Enemy Territory” features the three comics from Boston and three from Seattle and will air on the days leading up to Super Bowl.
Representing New England are Boston’s own Nick DiPaolo, Gary Gulman and Max “No Sleeves” Weisz. In the shorts the three Patriots fans are politely (of course) enjoying themselves in a Pats bar, when a comedy contingency from the Emerald City come walking in, invading the Patriots fans’ turf. Team Seattle is represented by Nick Thune, Jeff Dye and someone who knows comedy and football, Sarah Colonna, known for her appearances on Chelsea Lately and also known as the fiance of Seahawks punter Jon Ryan.
The conversation goes back and forth on which city’s team will win Super Bowl 49 and expect plenty of deflated ball shots.
“Enemy Territory”, which will air in two parts, premieres on ESPN’s SportsCenter on Friday, January 30th, and continues on Saturday, January 31st.
Here’s a taste of how ugly it’s going to get on “Enemy Territory”.
