Comic-Con and NBC Entertainment have launched a new official Comic-Con App, which will provide Comic-Con attendees with interactive exhibit maps, live updated event schedules, and the ability to post and share comments.

The San Diego Comic-Con convention, the world’s largest comics convention of its kind, takes place July 24-27 at the San Diego Convention Center.

Len Fogge, president marketing and digital for NBC Entertainment, said the app will be a helpful tool for convention attendees as they plan to attend this year’s event.

The app is available as a free download from the App Store on iPhone and iPod touch or at apple.com or on Google Play for Android or at google.com
