Netflix Adds Another Legend to Its Slate of Specials Premiering This Year
It feels like every day Netflix is announcing another giant name in stand-up to add to their roster of original hour specials. Today, Netflix announced that Tracy Morgan is the latest stand up comedy superstar to join the list of legends. The new special, titled “Staying Alive” explores Morgan’s new perspective on life, death, coping with his traumatic brain injury, and learning to walk again.
This will be Morgan’s first recorded hour special since the terrible car crash that nearly killed him, and his fans are eager to hear from him. In 2016, thousands upon thousands of fans packed theaters to see Tracy return to the stage with his “Picking Up The Pieces” tour, and there was so much love in the room that in theater after theater, fans leapt to their feet giving Morgan a standing ovation before he even spoke a single word. If you didn’t get a chance to see Tracy on tour, you’ll definitely want to save the date- Tuesday, May 16th to see him take the stage.

Morgan’s new special joins an all star roster for Netflix including recently announced specials from Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Jerry Seinfeld, Amy Schumer, Sarah Silverman, and Louis C.K. Who’s next?
