NASCAR’s July Daytona Race Ends In Frightening Crash

Sunday night’s Coke Zero 400 ended with Dale Earnhardt, Jr., in victory lane, but everyone’s focus is on the crash that happened behind him on the final lap. Denny Hamlin spun out coming across the finish line, and careened back into Austin Dillon, who was launched into the air and into the catchfence. Amazingly, Dillon’s only injury is a bruised tailbone and forearm. Four fans were treated at the infield care center, and only one was transported to a local hospital and later released.
