Moontower Announces Ron Bennington, Dan Soder, Big Jay, Sklar Brothers and More as Part of Podcaster and Broadcaster Lineups

Moontower has announced a gigantic lineup of podcasters and broadcasters who will be recording live episodes of their shows in Austin this year during the Moontower Comedy Festival. SiriusXM will be bringing Ron Bennington’s Unmasked, as well as The Bonfire with Big Jay Oakerson and Dan Soder, and the Sklar Brothers are returning with their podcast, Dumb People Town. Moontower will also feature a live episode of Tuesdays With Stories hosted by Joe List and Mark Normand. The Moontower Comedy Festival, now in its seventh year, is one of the most prestigious comedy festivals in the world.

Other shows on the slate include the Jackie and Laurie Show with Jackie Kashian and Laurie Kilmartin, Raised by TV with Crashing star Lauren Lapkus and Jon Gabrus, All Fantasy Everything with Ian Karmel, Wedlock with Kurt Braunholer and Lauren Cook, Arden Myrin, and Erin Foley’s Bachelor-themed Will You Accept This Rose?, and more.

This week the prestigious festival added a long list of talent to the already impressive line up: Arden Myrin, Avery Moore, Big Jay Oakerson, Chad Daniels, Chris Cubas, Chris Di Stefano, Daniel Van Kirk, Dom Irrera, Enzo Priesnitz, Erin Foley, Jon Gabrus, Lauren Lapkus, Mike MacRae, Todd Barry, and Scott Thompson’s award-winning show, “Après Le Deluge: The Buddy Cole Monologues” are now officially rostered. These new additions join the numerous hilarious stand-up, sketch and improv comedians previously announced. Among those are an impressive slate of headliners performing at the Paramount and Stateside Theatres, which include Tig Notaro, Tiffany Haddish, Mike Birbiglia, Jo Koy, Weird Al Yankovic, An Evening for the Comedy Resistance starring David Cross & Special Guests, Janeane Garofalo, Colin Quinn, Nikki Glaser, Ali Siddiq, Preacher Lawson, Ryan Hamilton, and Shmanners Podcast with Travis and Teresa McElroy. Moontower Comedy Festival is also excited to introduce the Netflix Lounge in partnership with Netflix, which will be located at the new Aloft hotel at the corner of 7th Street and Congress Ave, in the heart of the festival. The space will serve as a lounge for attendees and comics throughout the festival, with food and drink specials, as well as closing night party festivities featuring DJ Mel.
