Mike Birbiglia Joining “Orange Is The New Black”
Comedian and actor Mike Birbiglia is joining the cast of “Orange is the New Black” on Netflix. He’ll be part of season 3 in a recurring role.
The Hollywood Reporter wrote that Birbiglia’s character is being kept secret because of Orange’s showrunner Jenji Kohan’s dislike of spoilers. The part is adding to Birbiglia’s acting resume. He was recently seen in “The Fault in Our Stars” and he’ll appear in “Annie” later this year. He also has 3 other films that are still in production – “Don’t Mess with Texas” starring Reese Witherspoon, “Digging For Fire” written by and starring Jake Johnson and the new Judd Apatow comedy “Trainwreck” written by Amy Schumer.
The third season of “Orange is the New Black” is scheduled for streaming on Netflix in June, 2015.
