Michelle Rodriguez: Minorities Need To Stop Taking Superhero Roles From Whites
When it comes to superhero films and Hollywood possibly casting minorities in the roles of traditionally white comic book characters Michelle Rodriguez has an opinion on that. She said told minority actors to “Stop stealing all the white people’s superheroes. Make up your own.”
She also addressed a rumor that she will appear in a “Green Lantern” movie reboot. Michelle said, “That’s the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard.” In all fairness, she may have been talking about the idea of trying to reboot “Green Lantern” at all.
After she heard about the criticism online about her comments on “stealing white people’s superheroes”, she posted a video online explaining herself where she says what she meant is that people should quit being lazy. Yeah, that’s going to go over big too.
