Michael Vick Comedy Is Coming Your Way
Quarterback Michael Vick is spending his off-season producing his first major stand up comedy event.
“The Michael Vick Comedy Explosion” is coming to the Strand Theatre in Shreveport, Louisiana on Saturday, July 12th. The night is hosted by Tony Rock and includes Tony Roberts, Nephew Tommy, Robert Powell, Maija DiGiorgio and more comics to be announced. The evening will be taped for a television comedy special.
Michael Vick told TMZ Sports – “Sometimes, you just have to laugh. We have put together a hilarious group of comedians and we are going to have a blast on the bayou”. He also said he expects to be a target for the comedians and nothing’s off limits. Sounds like an invitation for plenty of dog jokes. Shreveport, get ready for Michael Vick Comedy Explosion, it’s coming whether you like it or not.
As for his experience, Michael Vick will be appearing in one of the fall’s biggest comedies, the New York Jets.
