Michael Ian Black Says Bill Clinton Tampering In Sweetest Possible Way

Michael Ian Black joined Larry Wilmore’s regular panel on “The Nightly Show” to discuss Bill Clinton’s reverse Midas touch in recent politics. Ricky Velez and Grace Parra, “Nightly Show” contributors, also hammed it up with the recent children’s author Michael Ian Black (“A Child’s First Book of Trump”).

Wilmore and his guests explored the thought process behind Bill Clinton’s recent confrontation with Attorney General Loretta Lynch on a private plane, while his wife’s FBI investigation was underway. The general consensus was that Bill Clinton would not intentionally sabotage Hillary’s campaign.  Black had some of the best lines of the segment, saying Bill has “purposely keeps himself away from the White House [even though] he’s had some of the best sex of his life in the White House” and that shows his support. Michael Ian Black called Clinton’s actions “tampering, but in the sweetest possible way” also referring to it as the charming big dog way. Velez got some great lines in too, joking about the news that Clinton’s top aide’s daily schedules are burned as a matter of course– “it is on her schedule, to burn her schedule.”

Conversation turned to Trump’s latest tweet, a controversial meme of Hillary, and Michael Ian Black found himself defending Trump’s misguided anti-Semitism towards Hillary Clinton just a little bit. He argued that it doesn’t matter what’s inside Trump’s heart so much as what he says and “Do we know she’s not Jewish? Have we seen her cock? Because I have not” and “I am Jewish”. Wilmore called Trump’s invective “a dog whistle” for racists, but Black disagreed that it’s “a marching band, a full orchestra” of lazy racism.
